Send a church shout out to your church!
Does your church serve the community where it’s located? Shout it out!
Does your church have a dynamic Sunday School and Bible Study program? Shout it out!
Does your church offer free meals and clothes to those in need? Shout it out!
Does you church have an outreach program that reaches beyond the four walls of the church? Shout it out!
Are you being taught the word of God? Are you growing spiritually? Shout it out!
This is your opportunity to let others know how your church is doing God’s work and his will in and outside the walls of the church.
Are You Practicing What You Preach?
How can we expect our children to behave as descent, law abiding citizens when we don’t behave as good citizens ourselves? If we are arguing or fighting in the streets, robbing and murdering people, what does our children learn? They see us do wrong and think that it is okay to do wrong. How can we expect our children to respect others when they see us being disrespectful?
What is Your Child Learning While Watching You?
Is your child or children learning to be kind-hearted, compassionate and caring people as they watch you handle situations that arise in everyday life or are they learning to be mean and uncaring to others because they watch you being selfish and mean to others? These are questions that we need to ask ourselves and be mindful of the fact that young children are learning how to handle life as we do.
As adults, we could or should make a conscious effort to practice what we preach and teach our children to do what is right and pleasing unto God.
Let’s Make Our World A Better Place
Let’s do good and teach our children to do good. Give someone a hug, give an encouraging word or an unselfish gesture of kindness to someone. A smile may be all someone needs for their day to be a little brighter.
Let’s spread God’s love wherever we go!
practice what we preach when we tell our children to do as we say and not as we do? Can I get a witness! I know that there is somebody out there that can relate to this.
As adults, we tend to say and do things that are inappropriate for young children to be exposed to. Grownup stuff is for grownups only.
