Seeking Director of Music for Hire

Seeking a full time Church Musician to lead our parish music ministry. We are a liturgical church with Sunday attendance around 280. Preaching is from the lectionary and we have worship services using traditional (Organ / SATB choir) and blended contemporary music. We also have thriving youth and children’s ministries and an extensive adult program of fellowship and Christian education.

Christian qualities. A prayerful worshipper, a servant heart, orthodox faith and comfortable with gentle charismatic expression.

Music skills: Equally comfortable leading traditional and contemporary worship music. Organist and pianist. Experience in traditional choir training. Ability to arrange music for different ensembles and voices.

Personal qualities. Motivated, a gentle leader, a team player, hard worker, sense of humor. Willingness to serve where needed.

Personal skills. Good time management and interpersonal skills. Ability to relate to a wide range people (ages, backgrounds, traditions).
