DARRYL HARRISON FORD is an accomplished businessman, minister, musician, author, and public servant. He founded The Church of the Promise, Oak Park Michigan in 1998 where he served as senior pastor.

As a broadcaster, Darryl was responsible for the birth of Detroit’s first 24-hour urban gospel music station, which he also managed for two years. Concurrently, he hosted an Emmy award winning Christian TV show ten years on the local NBC affiliate, GodSounds, which garnered an Emmy award.

As a musician and worship leader I have served churches in music ministry over 20 years, and helped develop the careers of noted Christian artists Fred Hammond, Byron Cage and Derrick Horne (Lakewood Church).

My song writing ability was recognized when he received a Grammy award nomination for Say Yes. This song is featured on Minister Byron Cage’s latest album "Faithful To Believe" on the Verity label, released in fall of 2009.

I served as National Radio Correspondent for Promise Keepers Live Radio, covering conferences and broadcasting to millions internationally. As Contributing Editor to the nationally syndicated Gospel Today magazine, I have written feature articles on CeCe Winans, Bishop Paul Morton and the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, and Dr. A.R. Bernard, Pastor, Christian Cultural Center, New York, NY.

I currently serve as CEO and Founder of Promise Communications, a multi-faceted media and communications company specializing in television, radio, and personal career services. • This full-time position includes planning and coordinating music for 2 Sunday morning services in conjunction with the pastors.

• Essential qualifications for this position are: B.A. or B.F.A in music with proficiency in either piano/keyboard and organ, conducting experience, knowledge of Christian music from traditional hymns, spirituals to contemporary worship and praise songs, and the ability to select music to complement worship themes.

• Have a strong vision for music in worship and be able to work in a variety of musical styles including traditional, blended and contemporary worship services.

• Proficient in playing the organ and/or piano by reading music and playing by ear.

2. Send out invitations to everyone to visit your page
3. Get your music on iTunes, Napster and other mp3 stores
4. Place online ads with google adwords to help drive traffic to your site
5. Pass out flyers
6. Tweetmysong.com - Get your songs tweeted using audio files
7. Insternship - Volunteer at a local radio station - When an opportunity presents itself, you may be able to promote your songs, cd's or whatever.
8. Social Networks - Using the following social networks like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, R&R World & Ubetoo.com, will help you to build and grow your fan base.
